Lyrics Try to Love Again and eagles

Tucked away near the end of Hotel California, which turns 45 this week, is the final vocal Randy wrote during his tenure with the Eagles, "Effort And Honey Again." Today, the song is considered a deep track, but in 1976, it was a striking with gimmicky critics, who felt it was the highlight of the album. What sets information technology apart from Randy's signature song, "Accept It To The Limit," in my stance, is that information technology is all Randy. At that place are no Don Henley/Glenn Frey co-credits here. The lyrics are sweet, pure, and hopeful. Randy may non have had Henley's English language literature background, but he was able to convey but every bit much in a unproblematic phrase, such equally "Right or wrong, what's washed is done, It's only moments that yous borrow." The song deserved to be a hit, but perhaps it's all-time that information technology remained in obscurity and was never overplayed on the radio, like the title track. This style, it can go on beingness our little underground. Something we can pull out when people say, "Who's Randy Meisner?" Well, here he is.

Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Randy Meisner, Glenn Frey, Don Felder

"'Try And Love Again' is bassist Randy Meisner's just written contribution to Hotel California, and even though it'south a far weep from his 'Take It To The Limit,' it'due south ane of the few typical things on the new LP. Containing elements of folk, country and stone music, information technology'southward another semi-bitter love vocal served up in a convincing fashion. Meisner's vocals, every bit always, are perfectly tailored to the lyrical message."
–Daily Record Sun (Morristown, NJ), January 2d, 1977

Some critics felt that "Endeavor And Love Once more" was the only vocal that represented the Eagles signature audio:

"Traditionally, the Eagles accept come to be known for fluid, upbeat country with a pinch of stone and a nuance roll now and then. For the dyed-in-the-wool fan, there is plenty of that on the album, likewise. "Endeavor And Dearest Again," and the title cut, 'Hotel California' are very practiced examples of what has helped the Eagles feather their nest."
–The Times (Shreveport, LA), Jan 9th, 1977

"There are remnants (as in 'Attempt And Love Again') of the stiff lead vocals backed by a sugariness chorus."
–Dark-green Bay Press Gazette, January second, 1977

LYRICS:
When you lot're out in that location on your own
Where your memories can find you
Similar a circle goes around
You were lost until y'all found out
What it all comes downwardly to

1 by one, the lonely feeling's gone
Day by 24-hour interval, they slowly fade abroad

Ooh, the look was in her eyes
You lot never know what might exist plant in that location
She was dancing right in fourth dimension
And the moves she made so fine
Like the music that surrounds her

Should I stay or go?
I really wanna know
Would I lose or win?
If I endeavor and love once again

Oh, oh, oh, oh, gonna try and dearest once again
Oh, oh, oh, oh, I'k gonna try and love again
Oh, oh, oh, oh, gonna try and love

Only the thoughts will linger of the lady and her song
When the lord's day comes up tomorrow

Well it might accept years to come across through all these tears
